Origin

Habitat

Species of hypogeal habits with clear adaptations to the caveman environment. Four specimens are known, three come from a volcanic tube on the western slope of the island and at a high altitude, and the other was captured in shallow underground surface traps in the pine forest. It is foreseeable that this species populates the sub-tropical volcanic zones of the northwest of the island, a little outside the prevailing vegetation cover.
