Origin

Habitat

Species of wastelands and sandy areas in arid zones of the coastal strip, usually below 100 masl, although there are references to higher elevations. Select sandy, earthy or clayey substrates on sloping slopes, gully channels, badlands and plains with variable vegetation cover. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
