Canary endemic
North of Tenerife.
It inhabits the network of spaces that the subsoil presents as long as it has enough humidity. At a lower depth in the subsoil of medium altitude forest areas, and in suitable volcanic tubes from sea level to about 600 msm (Verdú & Galante, 2009)
