Canary endemic
South, Center and North of Fuerteventura, and South and West Center of Lanzarote.
It is found in thickets of tabaibas in environments with high dryness and high temperatures during a large part of the year, although it can also be adapted and live in grasslands. (Verdú et al., 2011)
