In the census carried out in 2008, the maximum density was estimated every 100 linear meters for the Three Lakes Cave in about 10 specimens and for the Atlantis Tunnel in 7 specimens. In the total area of Los Jameos del Agua, 1 individual was registered. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
