Coasts Northeast of Tenerife, and Northwest and Southeast of Lanzarote.
It has been located in the intertidal and subtidal. It needs, among other characteristics, to be subjected to a regular flow of water that allows a good development of the porifera. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
In the census conducted in 2008, 3 copies were found. (Moro, L., 2008)
