Canary Islands, Azores and Madeira. European Atlantic coasts (Iberian Peninsula, French Basque Country, Brittany, British Isles), having been found disjunct in an Italian town.

East of El Hierro, North, East and Southeast of La Palma, North and Center of La Gomera, Northeast of Tenerife, and North of Gran Canaria.

Habitat

Species that live in shady and humid places of the monteverde, often in slopes and oozing rocks, in the area of the monteverde. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
