Origin

Habitat

It grows between 750 and 1250 meters in the potential environment of Monteverde, settling at the foot of the walls or on earthy slopes. It can also be found at the foot of agricultural or natural walls at the base of lava blankets, in humid environments. (Marrero & Sánchez, 2013)

Population data

In 2010, 18 plant feet were distributed in small groups of 2 to 10 plants or isolated individuals. (Sánchez, T, 2010)
