North and Northwest of Tenerife.
It inhabits rocky slopes and basaltic coastal cliffs, sunny and arid, dotted by the sea (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2002, 2,030 individuals were counted. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2002)
