Islote de Lobos. Probably exinta north of Fuerteventura. Doubtful presence in Lanzarote.
Arenales and coastal lagoons in an area flooded by brackish waters with fluctuations throughout the year (Atlas and Red Book of the Endangered Vascular Flora of Spain - Priority taxa 2004)
The only existing data figures the population in 103,512 individuals, although the proportion of juveniles and seedlings is unknown. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
