Canary endemic
Center and Southeast of La Gomera.
It is found in shrub communities related to the distribution of thermophilic forests, on stony soils, hillsides, etc. (Gómez et al., 1996)
The census carried out in 2003 establishes the population in 990 specimens in different phases of growth. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009).
