Origin

Habitat

It grows on cliffs, platforms and slopes of ravines of high and humid areas, being able to participate in the cardonal. In the central zone of the island can be found in cracks of badlands, volcanic cones, etc. (Reyes et al., 2000)

Population data

The census carried out in 2002 for the island of Fuerteventura estimates the population between 722 and 1,982 individuals. In 2003 it was carried out in Lanzarote and 22,383 copies were counted. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009).
