North and Northwest of El Hierro, West, Center, North and East of La Palma, South and Southeast of La Gomera, Northwest, Southwest and Northeast of Tenerife, and Gran Canaria (without locality).

Habitat

Component of shrub thickets of middle areas typical of the thermophilic forest, in which sabbines predominate with wild olive trees, with underdeveloped rough soils or in cracks of abrupt zones in semi-somber ravines, in a refuge situation against grazing (Gómez et al., 1996 )

Population data

In the census carried out in 2010, 181 copies were counted in Tenerife; in La Palma 1,093 copies; in La Gomera 10 copies and in El Hierro 3 copies. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2010)
