Origin

Habitat

It develops on small platforms of steep cliffs. There are often specimens growing on the margins of the road, and may also appear in coastal rocky areas with marine influence. (Beltrán et al., 1999)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2003, the population was estimated at 26,046 specimens, but there is no data for the nucleus located between the viewpoint of La Aldea and Punta de La Aldea. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
