Northeast of Tenerife.
It develops in rocky outcrops, although it can also be observed colonizing old cultivation terraces (Bañares et al., 2004)
According to the information available, the population exceeds 8,000 copies with individuals of different ages (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
