Origin

Habitat

It grows on basaltic terraces where it can find sufficient soil, in environments typical of the thermophilic forest. (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2013, 8 specimens were counted, of which 7 were adults and 1 was virginal. The core of Cueva de la Ceniza is provisionally disappeared. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2013)
