Center, Northwest and Northeast of La Palma, North and East of La Gomera, Northwest, North and Northeast of Tenerife.

Origin

Habitat

It almost always develops on escarpments and slopes facing north, in cool and humid places, sometimes in recent castings, in exposed and sunny places, but with edaphic humidity. It is part of the thickets associated with the thermophilic forest or the zones of transition to the Monteverde. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)

Population data

There are censuses for Tenerife with an estimate of 227 copies, and for La Gomera with an estimate of 19 copies. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
