Canary endemic

Distribution in the Canary Islands

Northwest of Lanzarote.

Origin

Habitat

It grows on cliffs, forming part of the vegetation of rocky environments such as the thicket of the thermophilic forest. Despite this, it could be more linked to poor soil environments and be relegated to rocky situations due to external factors (Reyes et al., 2000)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2006, 127 copies were counted, of which 109 were adults and 18 were juveniles. (Deputy Ministry of Environment, 2006)
