Canary endemic
Northwest of Tenerife.
Colonizes basaltic cliffs and basaltic walls, semi-mysterious, often exposed to the refreshing action of the humid winds that are generated in the deep ravines. It is between 500 and 1000 msm (Beltrán et al., 1999)
In the census conducted in 2015, 2,434 copies were counted, of which 1,884 were adults, 120 were juveniles and 430 were virginal. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2015)
