Canary endemic
Center and West of Gran Canaria.
It lives on scarcely accessible cliffs, between 300 and 900 msm (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2013 there were 4,230 copies of which 4,224 were adults and 6 were juveniles. We did not prospect 3 subpopulations where the species is located. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2013)
