Canary endemic
Southwest, West and Northwest of La Gomera.
This species inhabits steep slopes and embankments, between 100 and 400 msm in environments typical of the Cardonal-Tabaibal. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
In the census conducted in 2009, 830 copies were counted, of which 800 were adults and 30 were juveniles. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
