Practically in the whole of La Gomera, and Southwest of Tenerife.

Origin

Habitat

Plant rock fissures on slopes and sunny cliffs in the thermophilic forest areas. Also in thickets of the upper limit of tabaibal-cardonal (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

In Tenerife, the species is present in a single town in Adeje that has 10 individuals. In La Gomera, it is present in three locations: Puntallana-Majona and Aguajilva with 3 populations and 77 individuals; In El Palmarejo with a population of 8 individuals and in La Lomada and Tecina-Bco. Santiago in two populations with 62 individuals (Bañares et al., 2010)
