Canary endemic
North and Northeast of La Gomera, and Southwest, Northwest and Northeast of Tenerife.
Participates in the thickets of the thermophilic forest, in more or less steep situations, rocky hillsides or also as a refuge in rocky environments (Gómez et al., 1996)
In 2005, 329 individuals were counted: 295 copies in La Gomera and 34 copies in Tenerife. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
