Habitat

Between rocks and on the edges of dry fields, between 100 and 300 msm, and in dry rocky areas (Bramwell, 1972)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2002 the population for Tenerife was estimated at 54,910 and for La Gomera 3,275 copies. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
