West and Center of Gran Canaria.
Species generally present in areas of the monteverde, in wet cracks of cliffs, or in bottoms of barranquillos with certain permanent humidity (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2007, 288 adults and 27 seedlings were counted. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2007)
