Canary endemic
South and Southeast of Fuerteventura. Probably extinct in the south of the island.
It forms part of the shrub vegetation typical of stony peaks and cliffs, within the area of the thermophilic forest with the presence of tabaibals. Many specimens are found in hard-to-access walls. (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2012, 614 copies were counted, of which 611 were adults and 3 were juveliles. (TRAGSATEC, 2012).
