Canary endemic
Northwest, Northeast, Center and Southeast of La Palma.
Shrub linked to rocky environments, which can be found both in steep and open areas in the laurisilva, and in drier places in the pine forest. (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2007, 5,598 adults were counted. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2007)
