Canary endemic
North and East of El Hierro.
It is found to be part of cardonal, thermophilic forests and inciensal-vinagreral. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
In the census conducted in 2014, 209 copies were counted, of which 161 were adults and 48 were juveniles. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2014).
