Canary endemic
Center of La Gomera.
It is part of the shrub layer of the monteverde, in semisombríos and humid environments. Lives more frequently in open areas that leave trees and shrubs, being accompanied by smaller plants. (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2002, 1,000 individuals were counted. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
