Habitat

It grows in coastal environments, in washouts at the foot of cliffs, ravines, hillsides, gravel beaches, small platforms, etc., generally in areas with somewhat disturbed soils. It is part of thickets of altered environments and with salt contribution through the seas. (Bañares et al., 2004)
