It inhabits the cracks of ancient basaltic rocks, abrupt and somewhat humid (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

The census conducted in 2008 counted 1,064 copies: 952 adults and 108 juveniles. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2008)
