Macaronesian Endemism (Madeira, Canary Islands and Cape Verde).
North and Northeast of El Hierro, West, North and East of La Palma, South of La Gomera, Northwest, North, Northeast, Southeast and Southwest of Tenerife, and North, Center, East and West of Gran Canaria.
It inhabits cliffs, cliffs, slopes of ravines, etc., of thermophilic forests. (Bañares et al., 2004)
The population is estimated at 697 copies distributed in 3 populations in Gran Canaria and 23 populations in Tenerife. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
