Habitat

Shrubby element of the well-preserved monteverde, in areas with high rainfall and frequent mists produced by the trade wind, in semi-somber places (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2014, 793 copies were counted in Tenerife: 779 adults and 14 juveniles; in La Gomera 75 copies: 73 adults and 2 juveniles. (Vice Ministry of Environment, 2014)
