Canary endemic
North of Fuerteventura, and Center of Lanzarote.
It is installed in more or less stabilized sandy areas, preferably located in inland areas where the marine influence is not direct. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
In the census carried out in 2007, the population was estimated at 2,799,741 copies: 1,418,694 copies for Lanzarote and 1,381,046 for Fuerteventura. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2008)
