Canary endemic
Northeast of Tenerife.
It lives both in open spaces and as part of other rock communities typical of shady and very humid localities. (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2014, 2,594 were counted, of which 956 were adults, 80 were juveniles and 1,558 were virginal. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2014)
