Origin

Habitat

It inhabits cliffs and sandy, sunny slopes of the Caldera de Bandama, between 230 and 400 meters above sea level, in areas typical of thermophilic forests. (Montelongo et al., 2003)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2010, 202 individuals were counted, of whom 190 were adults and 12 were juveniles. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2010)
