Northeast, West, Center North and Southeast of Gran Canaria (extinct in the rest of the island). Doubtful presence in Lanzarote.

Habitat

Own of tabaibales, dominating in the high parts of slopes and barranquillos oriented towards the north and the northeast. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2003, 74 specimens were counted, of which 62 were sub-adults and 12 were adults. (González Betancor, C., 2003)
