Virtually the entire island of El Hierro, all of La Palma (except the downtown area), all of La Gomera, the whole island of Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura (except the Northeast coast), practically the whole island of Lanzarote, and the Chinijo archipelago ( Graciosa, Alegranza, Montaña Clara and Roque del Este).

The nesting pairs are quartered to the most remote and inaccessible places of the archipelago, especially in areas of coastal cliffs. The nest, a small depression in the ground, is located in hollows or shelves of inaccessible places (cliffs, coastal cliffs, etc.).
