Canary endemic
Virtually the entire island of Fuerteventura (including Lobos), Lanzarote and Chinijo archipelago (Graciosa, Montaña Clara and Alegranza).
Present in semi-desert environments of badlands and lava with little or no vegetation. It also occupies sandy areas with rocks and vegetation, rocky ravines and areas of abandoned crops with stone walls. The minimum height at which they were found is 10 m above sea level. (Palomo et al., 2007)
