Virtually the whole island of Fuerteventura (including Lobos), Lanzarote and the Chinijo archipelago (Graciosa, Montaña Clara, Alegranza and Roque del Este).

Habitat

It is a species that is usually associated with thermophilic areas of sparse scrub, cardonal-tabaibal, areas of not too recent malpais, human constructions, or even sandy areas. Its altitudinal range extends from the nearby populations to the intertidal zones, up to its peaks. (Pleguezuelos et al., 2002)
