Distribution in the Canary Islands

Northeast, Northwest and West of La Palma and practically the whole island of Tenerife.

Origin

Habitat

It inhabits preferably under stones and walls of stones. In urban areas they frequent the walls near the street lighting at night to hunt the insects attracted by the light. It is found in all types of habitats, from the coast to the peaks. In any case, their populations are much denser in the low areas. (Pleguezuelos et al., 2002)
