Origin

Habitat

Monteverde and fayal-heathland, from mature and shaded areas to crests exposed to the wind with dominance of heather and yew. Probably more frequent in habitats with abundant mulch and high stoniness, in forest basins with dense tree cover and shade conditions and high humidity both in the soil and in the environment.
