Distribution in the Canary Islands

East Coasts of La Palma, Northwest, North and Southeast of Tenerife, Northwest and East of Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura (without locality), and Northeast of Lanzarote.

Habitat

It is generally found in infralittoral sandy sea beds. It is a kind of nocturnal habits that is buried almost completely by day to go out to hunt their prey at night. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
