Habitat

It lives on old basaltic cliffs, vertical escarpments and slopes of ravines of considerable slope (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2015, 1,903 specimens were counted, of which 1,782 were adults, 49 were juveniles and 72 were virgin. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2015)
