Canary endemic
Southeast of Tenerife.
It is found on ancient basaltic cliffs and cliffs, somewhat shady, preferably facing North and located below the influence of the alisio fogs, between 300 and 850 meters above sea level, present mainly in thermophilic forest areas. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
The census conducted in 2003 establishes the population in 4,207 copies. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2003).
