Scrub of arid environments, especially cardonal, although it is also part of the fayal-heath, colonizing even altered environments. (Bañares et al., 2004)

Population data

The census conducted in 2012 was carried out in 3 locations of those cited for the species and 85 specimens were counted. (TRAGSATEC, 2012)
