Origin

Habitat

Own shrublands of cool areas that are located on the edges of the monteverde or in steep formations, always in areas with good lighting (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

In the census carried out in 2007, 794 individuals from both natural and restitution populations were counted, of which 720 were adults, 24 were juveniles and 50 were seedlings. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2007)
