Southwest of Tenerife.
Own in arid and sunny environments, growing on skeletal stony ground, in the domain of cardonal. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
In the census conducted in 2009, 3,653 individuals were counted: 3,168 adults and 485 juveniles. (Bello & Lisandra, 2009)
