Canary endemic
South of Fuerteventura, and Southwest and Northwest of Lanzarote.
It takes refuge in the most humid areas of the island, growing in crevices and platforms of cliffs oriented preferably to the N. (Reyes et al., 2000)
The data for the year 2003 estimate the population in 550 copies, (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
