Center and West of Gran Canaria. Probably the population of the center of the island is extinct.

Origin

Habitat

It is found in rock fissures as well as on slopes and platforms of steeply sloping cliffs, in the area typical of thermophilic forests, in more or less shaded areas. (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2014, 292 examples were counted, of which 286 were adults and 6 were juveniles. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2014)
